Hi, The other problem is Morphlines. It's not compatible to latest TIKA! I later versions we removed the Morphlines plugin, but in 5.5 it won't work anymore.
As far as I see, Solr 5.5 uses TIKA 1.7. I am not sure if this old version already have MATLAB support - does it contain jmatio.jar? If not, we can revert both updates: SOLR-8981 and SOLR-10335 Another alternative is to simply remove the MATLAB parser (delete jmatio and others - look at dependency tree). TIKA disables parsers with classloading errors automatically. I'd really keep the current version, otherwise we have to remove Morphlines.
