_lot_ more people watching that list who may be able to help and you'll
probably get responses much more quickly.
If it's determined that this really is a code issue in Solr and not a
configuration/usage problem, we can raise a new JIRA or reopen this one.
Short form (and please use the user's list for any further clarification):
You can't. You must reindex from scratch, preferably into a new collection. Or
use a new field defined properly and index into that.
