Environment: myEclipse Blue v 8.6.1, but presumably this error would
be flagged in any environment that checks JSPs

The JSP ping.jsp throws an exception of type "Throwable", but nowhere indicates
it throws this exception. myEclipse Blue (and, I'd expect, just about any
Eclipse JSP editor) flags this as an error. This is a bit annoying, as the
error indication flag then percolates up thru the entire project in myEclipse.
