The section on IndexUpgrader Tool (and I'll remove the space too) leads to the
conclusion that you can successfully upgrade an index X->X+1->X+2 which isn't
true. I'll attach a proposed doc change in a minute.
I'm thinking of only putting this in master and 8x on the theory that AFAIK,
the enforcement of this restriction is only 8x and later.
This is doc-only, if no objections I'll commit this weekend at the latest.
