Updated patch to latest trunk changes.
I think the next steps are to support the following parameters:
* group.query
* qroup.main
* group.formay (simple)
After that commit it and port it back to 3x. The group.func parameter can then
be addressed after it ported back, since it is only a 4.0 feature.
