I think the scope must be very limited to Solr Admin moving off of deprecated tools for phase 1 (maybe with some visual improvements baked in). Specifically, to each of you: Jörn - an open source search UI is something that I hear is in the works right now. More on that later. Alex, the Language Server Protocol is also awesome but probably not fit for this discussion’s focus at for the moment. If you want to talk about it in a separate thread I’m happy to chat through it and figure out how to reduce friction for when it’s time to consider implementing it or something like it.
