Hi everyone, We started using Solr for one of our customers and like it very much. What made me wonder however, is that the Schema page inside the Solr Admin site is rather incomplete and only for one core at a time.
For advanced requests to the Schema API the docs show us to use curl. I configured Postman for doing the requests so that I was able to use the runner for batching my requests through all cores, but it's just a workaround. So my idea was to create a tool which allows to configure requests to Solr APIs based on a hostname, where you can define the order in which they run and for which cores every request should be executed. I was wondering however, whether I just did not search correctly for such a tool, or - if it really does not exist - why no one created it at this point. Is there something that I am not aware of, which makes such a tool hard to create? I'd be glad to get some input.
