or at least some logs that exercise Solr realistically. While I’m on my fix-the-logging kick, I’d like to look at SOLR-11934. But I’d like to do an analysis of where the logging messages come from with more recent Solrs than that vintage and whether some of the characteristics I saw that are discussed in that JIRA are still current.
So I’d like to analyze some logs to see if I can characterize where the log messages come from and we can discuss whether we can/should turn some of them down, and if so, how. Until I can get a better idea of the distribution of where calls come from, the discussion of what to do or even if we should is premature. So if anyone has some log files that they can share, I’ll give it a go and we can discuss the results and what, if anything to do on SOLR-11934. Maybe put them on Dropbox or something and send me a link? Thanks, Erick BTW, today should see the last mass change for LUCENE-7788 and inclusion of the log validation checks in the gradle build…. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
