Hi Andrew,
Lucene/Solr no longer uses the old Apache CMS and switched to Pelican half a year ago. But before deleting any stuff keep in mind, that some static parts (not CMS-related) like Javadocs are still saved in a huge SVN repository (the former CMS production repo). Those approx 20 Gigabytes of data should stay there and are updated on every release. Because of the size, Git is no option 😊 The folders from there are still svn-exported to web server and included via .htaccess into the new, Pelican-CMS generated website. If you want to cleanup: Don’t delete anything yet, let’s talk first which folders are still needed for Lucene and where they are stored (git/svn). As you know, the CMS is reaching end-of-life, and we need projects to move their websites onto a different option within the next few weeks. There are several alternatives available, including those listed on this page [1] on managing project websites. Infra is assembling a Wiki page [2] on migrating a website from the CMS, and is looking forward to helping projects with this transition. Please let me know whether your sites are still on the Apache CMS and, if so, who will be the project point-of-contact with Infra for the migration. Thank you!
