Sorry, no. It's completely unrelated. Adding conditional numHits per entry to
FastLRUCache would be a small simple change. Trying to figure out what/how to
refactor Solr's current caching into a module is at least an order of magnitude
(or two) harder. You can tackle that anytime you feel like it, but don't force
it on anyone else.
