Hi, I have no problem with that in general. We are on Java 5 for Lucene 3.x, so we have to live with its limitations. In my opinion this is just another reason to bring out Lucene 4.0 with Java 6 and stop adding new features to 3.x (only bugfix support like with 2.9 had once).
