Some early feedback for those who are curious
We went live on Jan 7, so Jan 8 is first official full day. lucene.a.o,
lucene.a.o/java and lucene.a.o/solr all have analytics tracking codes. Wiki
pages do not. Pylucene and Open Relevance also do not. Nor do specific Lucene
release documentation. I'd love to be able to get at downloads, but
unfortunately, Forrest doesn't make it easy to do redirects, so it's not easy
to know how many people clicked the download links.
Jan 8: 2127 page views
9th: 5602
10th: 6128
It's only a small sampling but it dispels the long held view of many open
source doubters that we're all just a bunch of hackers doing this in our
copious free time.
