That was my fault when the "Schindler VM" instead the "Hotspot VM" unrolled the 
loop (Schindler loop optimizer bug). I unrolled maximum of 9 bytes not 10 
(which is wasteful, too).

We had no negative VLongs until now, so that was no issue :-)
