A warning message seems over the top. There are perfectly valid reasons to do a
full merge. It is just fine as the last step if you rebuild a medium to small
index every day, like we did at Netflix.
I've worked on two other engines with automatic index merging, Ultraseek and
MarkLogic. One called it "full merge", the other "force merges" (I think).
Neither one logged a warning.
