I've been merging LUCENE-3808 with trunk and I can only confirm my previous feeling that left over JARs are a pain. I am quite sure it'll start itching all of you at some point so I'll patiently wait until this happens and then go back to my 'ant clean should be wiping them out' suggestion. :)
