In my opinion, yes. and contrib/highlighter would sit under there too.
so instead of what you have today (which we dont even know how to package!),
when you unzip lucene.zip
you would see:
* analysis
* benchmark
* core
* demo
* facet
* grouping
* highlighter
* join
* queries
* queryparser
* memory
* misc
* sandbox
* spatial
* suggest
* test-framework
* tools
(i just combined the modules across lucene/, lucene/contrib, modules, and
alpha-sorted so you have an idea of what it looks like)
