That sounds right to me: when we do the initial intersection of the suggest FST 
with A (from the analyzer), it looks like we must keep the full input path 
(BytesRef) and carry that over when we pass the node to addStartPaths.

Either that, or ... we change how we break ties in the scores?  EG maybe we can 
tie-break instead by the surface form?
