I'm a part of the web team. We are using Solarium to index and query Solr. I'm 
very much interested to have a drop-in for 3.6 to take advantage of the 
multi-threaded indexation, which I would expect to be the default behavior. If 
I can't use your patch with 3.6 I would love to get some help to make it
