hey Steve, I appreciate you initiative but I think I recall a couple of
discussions about that all with the same result (here is one
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/elasticsearch/qJDfhBu4aqo). I think I
have to disappoint you that the main point has not changed since ever. The main
motivation is 0-dependency in Lucene core so I think we not gonna move forward
on this issue.
