bq. -0 on making these toString messages less verbose, because i do think those
are handy in some cases, but +1 to making hte INFO messages less verbose
(probably by eliminating these objects from them messages) and adding
subsequent debug messages that have all the details
I will stick to these constraints when I start poking around.
