Jack, are you saying that you want to keep parsing and enforcing the limit in
4.3, then do my current patch in 5.0?
Assuming that the default limit is removed (either here or in Lucene), my
preference would be exactly what the attached patch does - don't parse the
option and remove it from examples. Your approach is more conservative, and I
can understand that it might be preferred.
