I tried to keep this down, but over time I've come to think it makes less and
less sense. The benefits are not worth the initial experience for those that
don't have things setup and running in a fast environment. The cost of an
expiration can be quite high as well, and increases as your index size
increases, as it can easily trigger replication recoveries.
