@AddictedCS Thank you for the report. I can reproduce a significant
discrepancy on a M1 Pro MacBook Pro with beta 16:

For me, the ratio is ~30x, not 12,000x, but that's still unacceptable.
I tried it against master with similar results (note: I dropped N to 25 just
to speed up the test run, but similar ratio):
