Here is a bit more detail: https://community.pivotal.io/s/article/Function-cannot-Execute-on-the-Segment-Node-in-Pivotal-Greenplum We can try to work around it but it would involve some significant refactoring. Alternatively, you can create a view with a single row (using select * from <table> where k = <target_k>) and use it as input.
