Hey, I am dropping out moderator for private@madlib. This was left over from when madlib was in incubation.
That only leaves Roman Shaposhnik as moderator. I think he is left over in a similar way. It would be much better to have the madlib community handle the moderation themselves. For this reason and since one moderator isn't enough, we need two to four volunteers from the PMC to step up to moderate this list. The workload is very low ... ignore the occasional spam, moderate in the occasional PMC member who sends from the wrong address, allow new PMC members in. My guess is that spam comes up 2-3 times a week and the other issues are very rare in comparison. Please comment on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-20078 if you can volunteer for this. I won't be tracking responses here (and am not really the person to contact anyway).
