## Description: - Apache MADlib is a scalable, big data, SQL-driven machine learning framework for data scientists.
## Issues: - There are no issues requiring board attention at this time. ## Activity: - Release 1.18.0 occurred on Apr 5, 2021 which was the 8th release as an Apache TLP project. - Community is working on the 1.19.0 release including the following JIRAs: * WCC: Optimize subtx count and catalog entry frequency * next phase of DBSCAN clustering algorithm * Deep learning minor fixes * multilayer perceptron - added Adam and RMSprop optimizers * Fix build failures for PMML and gppkg ## Health report: The community is relatively small but very engaged with robust mailing list traffic, interest in doing frequent releases and new functionality being developed by contributors. The number of developers actively contributing to the code/documentation is approximately 3 in the 1st quarter of calendar year 2022.
