Hello Apache MADlib Community,
This is the vote for Apache MADlib 1.20.0 Release (RC2). It provides the source
release tarball and a convenience binary for CentOS7.
The vote will run for at least 72 hours and close on August 2nd, 2022 @20:00
UTC (15:00 EST). A minimum of 3 binding +1 votes and more binding +1 than
binding -1 are required to pass.
The main goals of this release are:
New features:
- XGBoost: Python-based XGBoost with single and grid search executions
(MADLIB-1425, MADLIB-1490)
- Graph: Add multicolumn support for WCC and Pagerank (MADLIB-1502,
MADLIB-1503)
Improvements:
- Utilities: Reuse update plan in GroupIterationController
- Documentation: Update online examples for various modules
Bug fixes:
- Elastic Net - GLM - SVM: Adjust ORCA to reduce planning time
