Hi! one of my outstanding action items from the outgoing ASF's board is to help with revitalizing MADlib's PMC.
After a few discussions online and offline it seems that there's enough people who are really passionate about making sure that the project thrives at the ASF but are unsure about how to proceed. Here's my proposal: let's re-establish the PMC with the following members (and Ed Espino as the chair): Ed Espino (espino) Venkatesh Raghavan (vraghavan78) David Kimura (dgkimura) Roman Shaposhnik (rvs) Orhan Kislal (okislal) Hansome Yuan Chris Hajas Jingyu Wang For comparison, here's a list of the current PMC (with the only overlap between the two lists being myself and Orhan): Aaron Feng Anirudh Kondaveeti Atri Sharma Domino Valdano Frank McQuillan Gregory Chase Jingyi Mei Ekta Khanna Nandish Jayaram Nikhil Kak Orhan Kislal Rashmi Raghu Rahul Iyer Roman Shaposhnik Sarah Joann Aerni Srivatsan Ramanujam All of the current, inactive PMC members are CCed and should they desire to continue -- we'd wait for a few days to hear from them. However, if we don't hear back by the end of next week -- we'll submit a board resolution with the list we've got. Finally, for Chris, Jingyu and Hansome I would need your ASF IDs. If you don't have one, please start by filling out ICLAs with the ASF according to the following guidelines: https://www.apache.org/licenses/contributor-agreements.html#clas Thanks, Roman.
