Hello Dianjin,

This is great news. And yes, I am very much interested in having Cloudberry
database support natively similar to PostgreSQL and Greenplum. Having
members of the Cloudberry database contribute to the Apache MADlib project
may help project adoption by the larger Cloudberry user community.

As you review the codebase, I wanted to share a few details:

   1. The current and active Apache MADlib 2.X work is performed in the
   "madlib2-master" branch.
   2. Python 3 support was introduced into the "madlib2-master" branch and
was first released with Apache MADlib 2.0
   3. Python 2 support remains in the master branch and is essentially
   deprecated at this point.
   4. Until we figure out what is to become of Greenplum support, please do
your best to leave it intact.
   5. Please use the dev email list to discuss any questions and approaches
   you will be performing.

I'm looking forward to close collaboration with the Cloudberry database dev
community.

Regards,
-=e
