please note that there's a proposal under discussion
that may provide a new place for the Apache MADlib
community to apply their efforts:

While the current state of the MADlib community is a bit
dwindling we hope that the next generation codebase
coupled with active user community will provide a much
needed boost.
IOW, while the initial idea for the Apache MADlib was
to be a standalone community (serving ALL PostgreSQL
derived projects) perhaps a better idea is to exist
under the umbrella of the CloudBerry host project.
At any rate -- please let us know what do you all think
in that Incubator thread.
