Dear MADlib dev community, The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache MADlib has asked Orhan Kislal to become a committer and we are pleased to announce that he has accepted.
Here are some of Orhan’s recent contributions: - Release manager for 1.9alpha, 1.9 and 1.9.1 - Worked on: - New features (prediction metrics, pivoting) - Expansion of existing modules (PCA) - Upgrade support - Release related tasks - Bug fixes (kmeans, random forest, elastic net etc.) Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process.
