This includes the split by time.  I haven't added unit tests.  However, I 
picked a date range, and separated the entries in that range from my data using 
awk.  Then I ran an evaluation algorithm on the entire data set, and this 
smaller file, both times using the date range of the smaller files.  The 
results were identical, after I changed GenericDataModel to sort the output of 
GetPreferencesFromUser.
