Grant Ingersoll resolved MAHOUT-1110. ------------------------------------- Resolution: Won't Fix I think the way you do this is by setting the -core flag, which is the true local developer mode. If we add this into the non-core mode, you will get weird issues, it seems when Hadoop is running. In other words, Hadoop is provided... > bin/mahout in released package only works with external Hadoop cluster, not > with packaged Hadoop > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: MAHOUT-1110 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAHOUT-1110 > Project: Mahout > Issue Type: Bug > Components: build > Affects Versions: 0.7 > Reporter: Lance Norskog > Fix For: 0.8 > > Attachments: MAHOUT-1110.patch > > > The bin/mahout in the mahout-0.7 and current trunk does not support running > without a Hadoop cluster. The problem is that the hadoop-core library is not > stored in the top-level lib, but in /lib/hadoop. bin/mahout only searches the > top-level lib. > This problem does not show in running development builds, only the released > builds. > Patch is attached. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
