You can actually build the MCPermissions service yourself against SharePoint
2010 on your SharePoint server machine. Here's how:
svn co
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/manifoldcf/integration/sharepoint-3.0/trunk
cd trunk
ant build
All the necessary pieces, except for Java and Ant, should already be installed
on any machine that is running SharePoint. You can consult the README.txt file
for more details.
