Just had a quick look at the LiveLink connector UI code; couldn't find any
obvious way that anything from the metadata tab could be lost. Can you be more
specific about which field is getting blanked? Is it the mapping regexps that
are lost? Or something else? Maybe a screenshot would be in order...
