If it's easy, then separate commits would be preferred so we can track what
happens. In fact, what I'd do is this:
- check out trunk
- make your formatting changes there
- commit them
- rebase your branch
This is the only safe way to work. Otherwise, I recently committed a change to
the listtransformations.jsp page, so you would have to merge that in by hand
since there's no way automatic merge is going to work with everything
reformatted.
Also, if you are unfamiliar with how you rebase branches properly in svn,
please let me know, and I can furnish instructions.
