Hi [~julienFL], do you know of any connectors in the MCF stable that would
benefit from this?
The reason I ask is that generally we supply recommendations for which
repository connectors go with which authority connectors. There's currently
one exception to the rule that we ship only authorities for which there are
repository connectors, and that is the LDAP connector. And the LDAP connector
is a sore point because (a) the needs are different for every user; (b) it's
essentially impossible to test for the same reason, (c) proper usage depends on
code that the ManifoldCF project doesn't have or maintain, and (d) it's
impossible to reasonably document too. I'm therefore leery of adding more such
additions to our maintained codebase.
Perhaps you can provide a detailed use scenario and/or a repository connector
that uses this feature?
