Travis Maven Build and Maven Javadoc Build were successful on the branch build:

The ant build failed due to failing tests... but this is another story.
[~daddywri] i would like to merge this to master. Any objections?
Maybe we should add a jenkins for for building javadoc with maven to avoid
finding build issues when trying to release the maven artifacts.
