Hello Piergiorgio, Thanks for this roadmap page, good idea !
We strongly encourage to aim for Java 21 rather than Java 17, in particular because Java 17 has its EOL in 2027 (2 years from now only!). Also, Solr 10 will require at least Java 21.
In terms of RAG, for what it's worth, we have in the pipe some transformation connectors that will combine with the new embedding capabilities of Solr.
