Hello

I have been meaning to do this for ages. Now, due partly to my short
hiatus
(http://marketing.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=21187)
and now wanting to get back into the swing of things
(http://marketing.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=21189),
I would like to setup (initially) weekly IRC meetings with a tight
agenda for those that are participating in the OOo MP.

I would like to call the first meeting for Thursday 8 September at 1300 UTC.

See: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html to see how this
fits with your schedule.

The first agenda I would like to include:
- 2.0 promotion progress
- OOoCon 2005
- Affiliation

As well as a discussion on and around these topics, we would love to see
people drop in to say hello and introduce themselves prior to the
meeting. I would prefer to keep the meeting on-topic for 1 - 1/2 hour
commencing at 1300 UTC, and then anyone that wishes to stay afterwards
can stay and chat - as you do.

I haven't decided on what channel as yet. Previously, we have
successfully held our meetings on #OpenOffice.org but it depends on
where the developers up to with 1.1.5 and 2.0.

Don't worry if you cannot get to this meeting. I will rotate the time,
I'm sure there will be logs and summaries, and there will always be next
week :)

So stay tuned for notification of the channel. I do hope to see you there.

All the best
Jacqueline McNally
