Let us, OpenOffice.org, join the non-profit association "One Laptop
per Child."

I cannot find any references of MIT adopting open standards. So when it
breaks, they will only be able to get it serviced by the ones supplying
the parts. Perhaps a question for Negroponte, but more in the scope of
other forums tackling gaps in digital and information resources. But certainly, it is another one to add to the OEM list for OpenOffice.org.
