Perhaps you have been subscribed with such a forwarded address - in this
case you would need to look at the mail you got when you subscribed the
list - in the first lines of the mail the mailserver tells you which mail
address has been added to the mailing list. With this address you should
be able to unsubscribe (using the "unsubscribe with different mail
address" feature).
If you don't have stored the mail the project leads may remove you from
the list.
