First at all, I'm not envolving http://es.openoffice.org/ today but I will. About Spanish Native Language Project: I don't have a good opinion. Mainly, support documents are so old (most of them year 2005, a lot of things change since 2005 to OOo.)
Others details like toolbar in http://es.openoffice.org/ is in English.
I think that this can be change and it depend on spanish countributors.

Dear Martin, it will be best if you get involved with the Spanish Native lang project sooner than later specially so your opinion can change. The support on the mailing list is top notch. I dont say this just because I am the Co-lead of the project but because we have a more responsive team than the [EMAIL PROTECTED] or other 'general' support list.

Dear Alexandro, thanks for suggestion that you made and my only interest is to be more easy to use OOo to spanish speakers.I think that improves if documentation can be more easy to find ,specially for new (beginers) users.

The translations of the documents are from 2005 because we kept legacy documentation. Most of the newer documentation has been documented at OOoAuthors.org

Maybe ,can be useful to link http://es.openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList to http://www.oooauthors.org/es , it'snt?

Finally the 'english toolbar' is basically imposed on all the native-lang projects you can see the Japanese and others projects also have that english toolbar:

Here is some other Native-Lang projects:
http://ja.openoffice.org/
http://ro.openoffice.org/
http://de.openoffice.org/
I see that but it confuse many people
