One of our INGOT schools told my colleague that they have now ditched MSO in favour of OOo. This is a school for children with learning difficulties and has no specialist IT staff just generalist teachers. After learning to support the INGOT certificates at Bronze and Silver the teacher made the decision to switch. She did not know about OOo or any other Open Source software before joining us about 2 years ago.
Just thought you might like to know that the strategy is working even if it has taken time and is still relatively limited in scale.
