The Dell page is rather old and is not using the current Ubuntu logo, font and colour scheme so I suspect that that page is Dell's responsibility.
A quick search of the Ubuntu.com website however shows a few places where OpenOffice is used as opposed to OpenOffice.org but not very many: http://www.ubuntu.com/search/google-appliance/OpenOffice
Perhaps a quick note to both companies would get the problem solved. Although you will be embarking on a very long and difficult voyage if you mission is to correct every incorrect use of OpenOffice. ;-)
