Hi Vincent
I have version of plugin.jelly working with checkstyle-3.1.
You need also upgrade plugin to antlr-2.7.2.
In addition in plugin.properties I've added defult value:
maven.checkstyle.properties=${plugin.resources}/empty.properties
where empty.properties - empty file in plugin-resources/
Also you need *.xml checkstyle config files from checkstyle distribution
to be in plugin-resources/
