Hi,
I've rolled the proposed roadmap plugin
into the changes plugin in a new patch attached to MAVEN-556
(see http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=MAVEN-556).
This now generates a changes and roadmap report if there
are corresponding changes.xml and roadmap.xml files in xdocs/.

for examples.
Each of the displayed columns are configurable - they
can be excluded, and the heading names changed.
By default, the changes report has the following columns:
Type, Description, By
The roadmap report has:
Type, Description, Assigned To, Status
In the OpenJMS changes report for example, the 'By' column is
disabled.
