The following comment has been added to this issue: Author: dion gillard Created: Wed, 6 Aug 2003 9:45 PM Body: It's not a blocker to a 1.0 release. It is a bug, a duplicate of MAVEN-609, which is scheduled for the 1.0 release.
However the workaround is trivial (remove the offending classes from the bad jar, works I believe), and it affects so few people that I don't consider it a release stopper. Maven has had this bug for several beta releases. Feel free to convince me otherwise. --------------------------------------------------------------------- View the issue: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ViewIssue.jspa?key=MAVEN-657 Here is an overview of the issue: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: MAVEN-657 Summary: jxr:jxr fails with InvocationTargetException Type: Bug Status: Unassigned Priority: Minor Time Spent: Unknown Remaining: Unknown Project: maven Fix Fors: 1.0-final Versions: 1.0-beta-10 Assignee: Reporter: John Farrell Created: Wed, 6 Aug 2003 1:40 AM Updated: Wed, 6 Aug 2003 2:27 AM Environment: Mandrake Linux 9.1, Sun JDK 1.3.1-b24 Description: I took some existing code and tried to do a site:generate on it. It crashes with an InvocationTargetException which seems to be not unwrapped as described in JELLY-61 on this Jira. I have done a script of the whole command with -X turned on, which I will attach. --------------------------------------------------------------------- JIRA INFORMATION: This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
