I got a note that my Apache account was created, and its working out fine, except that I didn't seem to get maven commit karma.
According to http://apache.org/dev/pmc.html#newcommitter, somebody on the PMC needs to chase it up with [EMAIL PROTECTED] - would anyone have a chance to do that? Thanks.
