I was having a bad day :) I knew what it was, I just couldn't find it on the site. It is actually the in the first question in the FAQ too. I'm not sure we'll ever solve that problem, other than repeatedly mentioning it on the list. > Probably it's time to put more emphasis on the wiki! You do realise you aren't writing in HTML? :) > * Wiki will be noticed by the uses as "the one and only source for docs" (apart from the mailing list). You still need to link it from the main site somehow. > * Will the google search still work? "some search site:wiki.codehaus.org" You might get stuff outside of the maven wiki though. > * Will it be possible to harder or easier to seperate doc for > beta10, release 1.0 and the next upcoming release? Harder. Need to segment it, and I'm not sure what version control is built into the wiki, but maven's site is all in CVS. > hmmmm - comments? I say stay with what we've got. We're working through the site versioning issues slowly. The wiki should probably be a holding area for temporary doco or stuff that will eventually make it to the site. Cheers, Brett
